The Church on the Hill

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

In the ministry of Pastor Nehemiah Cordova Tandayag Tobalis, these words are not just a scripture, but a lived reality.

Pastor Nehemiah’s story is one of incredible resilience. Despite the physical challenge of losing a leg to a gunshot wound inflicted by a Muslim extremist, he has refused to let bitterness take root. Instead, his journey of faith has fueled a mission of radical love. He has dedicated his life to reaching those who might once have been considered adversaries, extending a hand of fellowship and the message of Jesus Christ to the very communities that caused him pain.

A Harvest of Reconciliation

The fruit of this unwavering commitment is nothing short of miraculous. Under Pastor Nehemiah’s guidance, ten former Muslims have transitioned from the mission field to the pulpit, now serving as pastors in their own churches. This is a staggering testament to the transformative power of love and forgiveness, proving that the Gospel can bridge even the deepest divides.

Co-Laboring in the Work

Pastor Nehemiah is a man of action. Utilizing his professional skills as a metal fabricator, he has been working tirelessly in his own shop, using his personal resources to construct a new church building on the hill. Inspired by his dedication, our organization is honored to co-labor with him. We have committed to supporting the construction of this “Church on the Hill” to the best of our ability, ensuring that this sanctuary becomes a reality for his growing congregation.

Together we can

Two people holding hands as a gesture of care and support, representing the mission's commitment to restoring hope through community donations.
Much of what we've already accomplished has been self-funded through a labor of love and faith. We know, however, that the need far exceeds what we can do alone. Your generosity has the power to change lives, restore hope, and bring healing to communities around the world. There is still so much ground to cover, people to reach and, miracles to be had.
